1. About your Personal Trainers / Coaches
All EDGE Personal Trainers and coaches are self-employed fully qualified personal trainers
Your trainer will use their knowledge and experience to will provide coaching, supervision, advice and support with the program.
2. What they need from you
Before starting your program you must have fully completed a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PARQ), and (if required) provided a letter of ‘medical clearance’ from your GP/medical professional.
You must also commit to informing your trainer of any conditions or changes to your health, now and on-going, which may affect your ability to exercise safely and with minimal risk of injury.
3. Getting results
As much as they’d like to, no trainer can guarantee the results of a training program. Your progress depends on your effort and co-operation in and outside of the sessions.
To make progress you must commit to your training program. That includes arriving on time for each session and wearing appropriate clothing and footwear.
4. Term time programs
Small Groups and kids classes are only run during school term times (dates of which are available on the website (www.edgestrength,co.uk). With 6 terms/programs being run each year.
5. Your permanent booking
When you sign up you will be given a permanent booking for an agreed class/time slot. This means you will be prebooked onto all sessions in this slot, until you cancel your membership.
6. Not able to make a session?
Sometimes life can just get in the way, if for any reason you are unable to make an agreed session, please cancel (within Evini) with as much notice as you can..
Once you have cancelled a session you will be able to book onto an alternative session within the same week (dependent on availability).
Note. If you cancel a booking in your normal slot it may be taken by another client, and there is no guarantee you will be able to rebook onto it.
7. Off on a jolly
We all need a holiday, and sometimes get called away for other reasons, which may mean missing a couple of weeks of term.
If this is the case for you, please speak to your coach in advance, and we may be able to give you a pass for an additional session at another time either side of your break. However, this is not guaranteed as the default for missing a class is that (unless rebooked for the same week) the class is missed.
Note: Any passes give for additional sessions will have an expiry date and are only valid while monthly payments are being made.
8. Payments
Payments are taken monthly from the date that you sign up, with the cost of a term spread over 2 monthly payments.
When you sign up it is for a minimum term of 2 months, with 1 months notice required for cancellation. Purchased programs cannot be refunded.
9. How payments are made
All payments to EDGE are taken via Evini (using Stripe or GoCardless).
Payment details must be entered/provided before booking onto a class, and they will continue to be taken on a monthly basis until your membership is cancelled
10. Missed payments
If you miss a payment or delete your payment details you must rectify it as soon as possible. Missed payments and missing details will prevent you from booking and attending classes
11. Change of payment details
If your payment details change, they should be updated in Evini as soon as possible to avoid missing a payment.
12. Moving on...
There comes a time when you may want to move on for whatever reason, we wish you luck.
If you wish to stop, you can cancel your membership within the Evini app under the 'Memberships and Passes' section. This will stop any future payments beyond the notice period. You will still be able to book and attend classes within the notice period.
13. What if..
There are inherent risks in participating in any program of strenuous exercise. If you sustain any injury while participating in training, the trainer cannot be held responsible (except where the injury was caused by their gross negligence or intentional act).
Your trainer cannot be held liable in any way for undeclared or unknown medical conditions.
14. Smile for the camera
Sharing is caring right? We want more people to benefit from strength training, and for that to happen we need to do a bit of promotion. This may involve sharing photos on social media or on our website.
If you don’t want to be included in photos/videos you can opt out on the questionnaire you are sent when joining, or just speak to your trainer,
